Stupid Gumtree
So i spent several hours on the big gum tree. I painted it and I painted it.......... and I painted it,
I know what I want, so I'll have another go tomorrow!
Jo it looks great - needs more contrast down the middle of the trunk - deep purpley blues nearly to the left, leaving about 1/4 on the right for mid-tone highlights. Dab the paint a bit more randomly for texture. Use a mid-tone blue for the left edge for reflective light - dabbing again into the dark middle. One of my ladies commented on your gum today because she saw it on the website and said it looked great.
